My EOS "Cotton Gray" Review

Okay, so I got the lenses last week and wore it yesterday. Before buying my lenses, I really thought hard on which design I would choose. I try to search for reviews and photos of it in actual. Hence, I came down on choosing EOS Cotton Gray. I had a Geo 15mm lens before so now I tried a 14.5mm diameter lens.

COLOR & DESIGN ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

              → Yes 4 out of 5! I know now why It is called cotton gray, coz the edge of the lenses are kind of cottony in effect. It's design and color are so vibrant! In my own opinion, these color doesn't care if you have dark or light eyes. The color of the lens doesn't depend on what natural eye color that you have. So if you like a lens that is true to color, this one is it! Downside? Honestly, It's not really what I've expected to be. I expected somewhat subtle and natural looking gray for me but this one is not compared to my previous GEO WMI-245 (Sugar gray). If you want "vampire-looking" lens.. this has potential LOL

ENLARGEMENT  ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

              → 3 out 5 which is fine for me coz I'm not going for a dolly-eye effect on purpose right now. What I'll advice is that 14.8mm or 15mm lenses are the size to go for if you're looking for a dolly-eye effect.

COMFORT  ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

              → It's not stingy on first try. It's easy to put on my eyes. Super lightweight that I can't barely feel I have something on my eyes. I tried wearing it for 5 hours or so without me lubricating my eyes. Yeah, maybe that's why they call EOS lenses as breathable lenses hehe (^.^)

OVERALL  ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

             → I love these lenses. I somehow felt a bit strange because last time my gray lenses are subtle gray.. This one is more of a vibrant gray. But it's nice to try something new, right?

My Simple Birthdate ♥

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Last Friday (March 23rd) is my Special Day (^_^)....I just had a simple birth-date with my husband and my son..

Here in our country, it's traditional to go to church when it's your birthday. As we all know, we Filipinos are religious. So that afternoon, we went to church.... Thank God for giving me another year to live.. then went to eat and dine afterwards.. my celebration was as simple as that.. I'm 23 years old and I chose to celebrate simple this year.. In fact, I enjoyed my night celebrating with people that I love the most ♥  

But, my best-est and closest friends are begging for a get together.. maybe we'll have a couple of drinks this week ;p

Definitely nice Acid Washed Jeans! Love to get one of those :)

It's hard for me to wear loose, straight cut type of jeans 'coz my legs aren't that long.. and also,for me, straight cut jeans are so outdated, I think.. or maybe Slim-fit jeans are just so popular nowadays..

NYX ♥ Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp Review

Here's my review for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp. I was excited to use this product because I read so many good reviews regarding this lip cream. Actually this is my first lip cream ever. I'm only used to lipsticks or just lip gloss growing up. And I'm a fan of Matte Lipsticks that's why I gave this baby a shot 'coz it's SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM ;p

Okay, so NYX is claiming this product as: Neither lipstick nor lip gloss—this is matte lip cream. A new kind of pout paint that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also moisturizing. 

• YES, It definitely sets into matte a few minutes after applying it onto your lips.

• YES, It goes on smoothly when applied using it's applicator. But be careful on applying it, you should glide it evenly on your lips 'coz when you apply it unevenly, it'll will definitely not look good.

• It's matte so it emphasizes lip lines/cracks when it dries.

• Moisturizing? Yes at some point but avoid using this when you have "chappy-lip-days".. Not a good idea!

• You can apply it 2-3 swipes more meaning it's buildable but just be careful to over-apply it 'coz it will become cakey.

All in all, I really love the shade, It's corally-peachy tone really accentuates my skin tone. And I also love the fact that it sets into soft, velvety matte on my lips. I love the product. It's so worth the price. For only P325.00 (7.60 USD), It's really worth the price.
